Even Bollywood royalty isn’t immune to Mumbai’s monsoon fury. Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic Juhu residence, Prateeksha, was inundated with ankle-deep floodwater following two days of relentless rainfall that has crippled the city.
What Happened?
A viral video captured the shocking visuals of waterlogged streets outside Prateeksha, with rainwater visibly entering the property. The footage shows cars stranded and security personnel scrambling to manage the situation. According to eyewitnesses, Bachchan himself reportedly stepped out with a wiper to help clear the water.
About Prateeksha
Purchased after the success of Sholay in 1975, Prateeksha was Amitabh Bachchan’s first home in Mumbai. It holds deep sentimental value, having housed his parents and witnessed the birth of both Shweta and Abhishek Bachchan.
