Asia Cup 2025: Organizers Warn Fans As India vs Pakistan Asia Cup Tickets Hit Rs 15 Lakh on Black Market

Asia Cup 2025

As the countdown to the Asia Cup 2025 intensifies, the highly anticipated clash between India and Pakistan has become a target for black market ticket sales, with unofficial websites offering passes for staggering amounts up to ₹15.75 lakh (AED 66,000). The exorbitant pricing has prompted a stern warning from the tournament’s official organizers.

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) have released multiple advisories, urging fans to refrain from purchasing tickets from unauthorized sources. They emphasized that any tickets acquired through these unofficial channels are fraudulent and will not be honored at the stadium.

“Official tickets for the DP World Asia Cup 2025 have not yet been released,” the ACC cautioned in a public statement. “Any tickets currently on sale are unauthorized, fraudulent, and will not grant entry. A formal announcement on ticket sales will be made soon by the ACC and Emirates Cricket Board.”

Official Tickets Released in Packages

Despite the chaos in the black market, the organizers have maintained that their official pricing strategy is designed to be affordable. The highly sought-after India-Pakistan match, scheduled for September 14 in Dubai, was initially available only as part of a seven-match package. Priced at a more accessible AED 1,400 (approximately ₹33,613), this bundle included not only the marquee rivalry but also six other crucial matches, including the tournament final.

In a recent development to cater to the immense demand, the organizers have now also made a limited number of standalone tickets available for the India-Pakistan clash, alongside new multi-game packages. The new packages, priced between AED 475 and AED 525, offer fans more flexibility to attend select group-stage matches, Super Four fixtures, and the final. The official tickets are exclusively sold through the Platinumlist.net website.

The move is expected to alleviate some of the pressure from the black market and ensure that genuine fans have a fair chance to witness the high-voltage encounter. The organizers’ continued focus on reasonable pricing for other matches—with general tickets starting at AED 40 in Abu Dhabi and AED 50 in Dubai—underscores their commitment to making the tournament accessible to a wide range of cricket enthusiasts.
